Business As A Team Sport: Opportunities for Winning
C.M. Newton is best known locally for his dozen years as head basketball
coach at the University of Alabama, recruited by legendary football
coach Paul “Bear” Bryant who was looking for a winner. Newton delivered,
taking the Crimson Tide to 3 straight SEC titles along with 4 NIT and 2
NCAA tournament berths. Since then he has served as an assistant
commission of the SEC, chair of the NCAA Rules Committee and Athletic
Director of the University of Kentucky. With a history of demonstrating
what a team that works together can accomplish, Coach Newton will share
his thoughts and insights on Business As a Team Sport.
